Welcome to the North West section of the Folk Song and Dance Group.
Welcome to the website for the Folk Dance and Song Group North West Area (FDSGNW) This is a special interest section of the Camping and Caravanning Club.
At the successfull meet at Kirkland and Catteral, we have had a good AGM with the formation of a full Committee. Well done to all and thank you if you atteneded.
As part of the Club’s 125th celebrations we’re launching a competition – Our Anniversary, Your Story – in the next couple of weeks.
For this we’re asking campers for their best camping stories, for a chance to win one of ten £125 Club Site vouchers. Stories could include anything from a memorable wildlife encounter to a family comedy mishap.
We hope to see stories from people who have been camping since childhood where the camping gene runs in the family. Does this sound like you? If so, the Club’s PR team would like to interview you for potential PR outreach to help drive entries to the competition.
If this sounds like something you can help with, please contact Andrew Robson at
We are looking for your votes for a meet location for the 2027 meet list. This poll is also on our Facebook bage.
